Hello my dear readers, my name is Natasja Bartholomé. I am a passionate Dutch writer of fantasy stories. When I’m not writing, I love reading fantasy stories – from epic fantasy to YA fantasy. I’m also a true globetrotter and love to travel and draw inspiration from the places I see with my own eyes. All of which are combined on this website.
About me
Hello there! My name is N.H.J. Bartholomé (but you can call me Natasja) the author of several fantasy novels, including the self published Sutarebil-trilogy. Through my novels, I explore themes of sisterhood, loyalty, courage and magic across richly imagined worlds filled with mythical creatures, enchanting landscapes and political intrigue.
In addition to my Sutarebil trilogy, i’m also working on other writing projects. For example, I am in the process of publishing my Victorian Women trilogy and, in my spare time, write travel blogs about the places I’ve visited and those I dream of exploring. After all, magic and beauty aren’t found only within the pages of a book.
The Sutarebil trilogy
In the YA fantasy series The Sutarebil Trilogy you enter the Eastern Realm, where an evil king is in power. You follow the three sister witches Lana, Ivana and Dana Liwel, who show the world that familial ties, especially among sisters, and the bonds formed with allies serve as the power to serve the world. The characters grapple with newfound power shaping their destinies. Fast-paced quests, time-sensitive missions, and nuanced moral decisions drive the narrative tension and and make it hard to put these fantasy books down.
